Heidi was born in 1982 under the shadow of Paul Bunyon in Bemidji, Minnesota. She is pretty sure that mathematical objects can explain the world but is no good at math so she tries to use language. Heidi received her BA in the study of religion at the University of Northern Iowa and now lives in Iowa City, where she studies journalism and psychology at the University of Iowa.
