Laura Gayle Green is a native Virginian who is still a mountain woman at heart. Her main gig is music librarianship, with degrees in piano, musicology and library science. She started moving westward in 1983, wound up in KC in 1993.  Laura Gayle plays with yarn, fabric, music, and words. While she still can’t quite call herself a midwesterner after 20+ years of living there, she’s glad Kawsmouth was willing to accept her contribution. Moving to Florida has granted another perspective on midwestern living!
